The Team
Our leaders in Northstar, Old Greenwood, and Gray’s Crossing

Greg Aiken, Director of Facilities
Greg is one of Tahoe’s most seasoned employees, having been an integral part of the East West Hospitality team since the opening of Northstar and Old Greenwood in 2006. He has held several key, diverse roles, including Front Desk Agent, Assistant Clubhouse Manager, Director of Guest Services, Homeowner Liaison, Assistant Project Manager; he’s currently serving as Northstar’s Director of Facilities. He and his staff manage the repair, maintenance and project work for 14 homeowner associations and Tahoe Mountain Lodging’s rental and homecare properties. Greg says, “relationships are critical to getting things done. I can pick up the phone and work through challenges and opportunities with my team and our partners”. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Greg grew up vacationing in Tahoe. He moved to the mountains in 2004 ‘for the winters’, but has found he lives for the summers, too. He, his wife Rachael and their two children, Liam and Nahla, enjoy paddle boarding, hiking, biking and camping. “I take full advantage of what Tahoe has to offer with life/work balance being my ultimate goal”.

Andrew Clark, Director of Guest Services
You’ve known and loved him as TML’s Concierge and Andrew has recently been promoted to Director of Guest Services. His wealth of local knowledge coupled with unmistakable warmth, hospitality and kindness has taken our front desk to soaring new heights. In his spare time, you’ll find Andrew exploring Tahoe with his camera, trying to capture this incredible place we call home. His interests include traveling for music, disc golf, great food, time on the lake, catching up with friends while supporting his Boston teams. Andrew was born in California, with stints in Boston, and he graduated from The University of Colorado, where he majored in economics, minored in history and played ice hockey, too. Andrew’s favorite quote is “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take” – Wayne Gretzky . He says “it seems I have been in hospitality my entire career — regardless of the arena, I’ve always taken care of customers. It is these customers that I sincerely aim to please with genuine hospitality.”

Liz Crellin, Corporate Manager, Reservations and Electronic Distribution
Liz has been with the East West Hospitality family for nearly 13 years, starting as a Guest Service Host at Tahoe Mountain Lodging’s front desk. After some time checking in and helping guests, she began assisting the reservations team on a part-time basis. Liz greatly appreciated “being able to book guests for their family vacation and then, also, welcoming them upon arrival. This truly allowed me to be part of the guest experience from start to finish.” Liz was soon promoted to TML’s Reservations Supervisor and not long thereafter Reservations Manager where she began taking on revenue management as well.
She’s now supporting not only the Tahoe division but also Snowmass, Colorado and Mauna Kea, Hawaii with reservations, revenue management and distribution.
Liz calls East West Hospitality “family” because working here is so much more than a job; her coworkers are friends. “They have seen my children grow up,” she says, “in all aspects of my life this company has supported my growth”. Liz is known for her adeptness in learning new processes and systems, a challenge she greatly enjoys.
When she’s not working, Liz cherishes time with her family at home. She loves to cook with her girls, go on motorcycle rides with her husband or finding a few quiet minutes to read.

John Fernandez, Director of Engineering
John Fernandez is Tahoe Mountain Lodging’s Director of Engineering at Old Greenwood. He has been an integral part of our team since 2012 — starting off as a maintenance technician, then moving into the supervisor role and in 2017 John was promoted again to his current position.
Old Greenwood’s maintenance department manages over 300,000 sq. ft. of residential space spread over 5,000 acres – handling everything from a loose faucet in a home to open and defensible space trail maintenance. A daily goal of John’s department is to assure residences are in top shape as owners and guests should be able to enjoy their vacation without service interruptions.
“I so appreciate the teamwork and collaboration we deliver to make things run smoothly,” says John. “Also, TML’s work-life balance is great to be part of.”
John moved to Truckee in 2010 with his wife, Zoe, and daughter, Maya, seeking a smaller town to raise his family. The three fell in love with the people of this community and many recreational activities, including skiing, paddleboarding and camping. John lives about a mile from the office and can oftentimes be seen riding his mountain bike to work.

Keith Hinman, Engineering Supervisor
Keith Hinman supervises Tahoe Mountain Lodging’s Engineering Department at Old Greenwood and Gray’s Crossing. After many years of traveling and working in international tourism and hospitality, Keith joined the TML team as a maintenance technician in early 2013 and was promoted to supervisor in 2017. “I love where we work, who we work with, and providing exemplary service and support to our ownership, renters, and co-workers,“ said Keith.
There is never a dull moment in the Old Greenwood engineering department. Keith leads by example and is not afraid to get his hands dirty. He can oftentimes be found in the field, interfacing with owners and guests, performing quality inspections, and training the engineering team. He believes “there is always room for improvement and we are consistently trying to improve.”
When not working, Keith is outside adventuring in one way or another. Whether rock climbing, trail running, cycling, snowboarding, open water swimming, or dirt biking, his life is balanced and full of excitement.

Catherine Lodge, Director of Human Resources
Catherine has been in Human Resources (HR) her entire career, starting this journey somewhat by accident at Harold’s Club’s in Reno. She holds a Bachelor’s degree and Human Resources management education from the University of Nevada, Reno and is certified with the Society for Human Resource Management and Human Resources Certification Institute. She joined Tahoe Mountain Lodging in 2007, after 17 years in HR at Tahoe Forest Hospital. “I love what I do and especially enjoy assisting employees and watching them get promoted and recognized. Best of all, these happy employees, in turn, provide a great guest experience,” says Catherine.
Originally from the Chicago area, Catherine came to Tahoe with her husband, Steve, and college friends for a ski bum winter and decided to stay, making the mountains her home. She has three grown children and three wonderful grandchildren. Her furry family is large and a light of Catherine’s life, including American Paint horses Rio and Chase; two pups, German Shepherd/Alaskan Malamute Dante, terrier Humphrey and cats, Wolfie and Tinks. In her spare time, you’ll find Catherine surrounded by family, friends, and animals, riding horses, teaching ballet and yoga, cooking, reading, playing guitar, making pottery and traveling. She’s excitedly looking forward to her sabbatical to Spain this summer!

Nicoleta Nagy, Community Association Manager
Tahoe Mountain Lodging offers more than just vacation rentals, we also oversee many homeowner associations and an integral part of this team is Nicoleta Nagy…
Having started with TML in 2008 as a front desk agent at One Village Place, Nicoleta was promoted to Owner Services Director a few years later. In 2017, she switched gears and was selected as the Community Association Manager for the homeowner associations in The Village at Northstar.
Nicoleta moved to Lake Tahoe in 2004 – straight from Transylvania – and she says she “couldn’t have picked a better place” and that it didn’t take long to know Tahoe would be home.
An avid traveler, Nicoleta never misses an opportunity to visit a new location. Her favorite place is Yosemite, she and her husband camp there every year.
In the summertime, she’s at the lake, BBQ’ing with friends, relaxing with a book on the beach, paddle boarding or kayaking. In the wintertime, she enjoys a nice, long snowshoe with girlfriends or a quiet evening at home, with a good glass a wine and some music in the background.

Tina Pacheco, Director of Housekeeping
Tina is a 13-year veteran of East West Hospitality, having started with the company in January 2006 as a reservation host in Crested Butte, Colorado. A few months later Tina moved to Lake Tahoe, joining the Old Greenwood team in the Guest Services department. As Tahoe Mountain Lodging grew, Tina transferred to The Village at Northstar and has worn many hats/grown into multiple positions including guest services, homeowner services, maintenance/housekeeping administration. Tina was promoted to her current role, Director of Housekeeping, in 2011.
“I enjoy having a strong housekeeping team, collaborating with them to figure out how to solve challenges that arise every day,” said Tina. She appreciates getting to know new owners as they learn about their residences and The Village as well as meeting guests who are vacationing at Northstar. Tina has recently been assisting the housekeeping teams at our sister resorts, Mauna Kea Residences and Snowmass Mountain Lodging, sharing her knowledge and best practices.
When she’s not in the office Tina loves family ski days and camping all over Tahoe with her husband and three children as she currently lives in Reno.

Nicole Reitter, Director of Sales and Marketing
Our Director of Sales and Marketing, Nicole Reitter, is oftentimes heard bragging that “my job is just plain fun”. She’s the face you see on Tahoe Mountain Lodging’s snowy Facebook live feeds, was the innovator of TML Rewards, our guest-perks program, chooses our exciting swag, and with a Journalism degree, she delights in copy-writing for our social posts, website, emails, and brochures. She’s a 22-year sales and marketing veteran, with 12 of those being in The Village at Northstar. “I’m so passionate about TML because I truly believe our lodging is a cut above the rest. Beyond the standard hotel room with a mini-fridge and king bed, we’re offering full residences with a kitchen, great room, gas fireplace, terrace, washer/dryer. And, you can walk to skiing, shopping, dining, ice skating, Starbucks and movies. Many Airbnbs can have you in the middle of nowhere, forcing you to drive to Tahoe fun. We’re the hybrid, offering the best of both worlds at a comparable price.” Nicole’s other passions include her husband and son, dogs, traveling, writing, photography, music, camping, skiing, and cycling.

Brynn Schuchardt, Director of Vacation Experiences
Brynn Schuchardt is our Director of Vacation Experience for Northstar, Old Greenwood, and Gray’s Crossing and also leads TML’s business development efforts. She finds the team environment and working with a talented group of people keeps her job fun and exciting. “It’s truly gratifying to lead the Guest Service teams who create memorable experiences our owners and guests. When you love what you do, it doesn’t feel like work.”
An alum of Santa Clara University, Brynn has been with Tahoe Mountain Lodging since 2009 and has also worked in PR, Marketing, food and beverage, and the fashion industry.
When she’s not in the office Brynn can be found exploring the shores of Tahoe by boat, spending time with family, and playing with her rescue-mutt, Malibu. Traveling and exploring new places with her husband is Brynn’s hands-down, favorite thing to do and she aspires to see all seven wonders of the world.

Liza Smith, Director of Finance
An impressive, 21-year veteran of TML/East West, Liza Smith is our amazing and talented Controller. She says while accounting is not necessarily glamorous, she’s stayed so long because of the opportunities she’s been given — chances to change locations and grow in her role, “it’s so much bigger than sitting in the back counting beans”. She loves living in a resort community and working for a company who understands what that means. TML makes this lifestyle work and is present in the workplace with, for example, the new sabbatical program. Participants are required to disconnect completely and spend time focusing on their passions, and that says a lot. Plus, our ‘products’ — whether it’s HOA management or rental/homecare management – are centered around premium residences set in exceptional locations. This makes it easy to stay with one company for decades, and thrive continually.
When Liza’s not in the office she’s playing outside with her hubby, Dave Smith; daughter, CJ and son, Jax, as well as their furry kid, Gunner. The Smiths enjoy all that Tahoe has to offer – mountain biking, running, hiking, skiing, cross country, water skiing, swimming, paddle boarding, and, especially, doing all of the above while exploring the surrounding areas in their camper. Traveling, music and cooking are passions, too, as is Denver football—go Broncos!
